About the work

Gradation of color, curve in shape and their change in time can be convertible by the “Space-Color-Time Rotation Conversion”, operation which rotates the pixels in a digital video file as a point in 6-dimensional Euclidean Space ( X,Y, time, Red, Green, Blue ). This installation, a study for spacecolortime consists of part(screen) and whole( LCD monitor ) of the desaturated image of the result of “Space-Color-Time Rotation Conversion” of a series of photograph of the sun ( taken by NASA SOD ). It’s seemingly monochrome, some information of the original color is actually seen in shape or motion as the result of the conversion,
